Over 14 years, WXSP has kept its grass-roots spirit. In 2014, over 15 local and national organisations will contribute drop-in workshops, performances and activities for all ages.
Join us for joyful, noisy, creative play with charity London Play creating a play zone with spacehopper races, pavement chalks, giant volleyball, street game swaps and round-the-world hopscotching. On Saturday you’ll find them at the end of the street closest to the Barbican and on Sunday games and chalk adventures will be in the same spot.
On Saturday afternoon our Cinema on Beech St hosts Cardboard Citizens for More than One Story, a screening of short films followed by a panel discussion with celebrated children’s author Malorie Blackman. On Sunday afternoon we're hosting free family short films and a drop-in workshop with our community partner Accumulate.
