Drop in 12-9pm (until 8pm on Fri 4 Oct)
Artist Nina Wakeford resumes feminist critiques of science and technology from the 70s and 80s in this live residency.
In March, artist Nina Wakeford used the Barbican public space to create a series of performances which resumed feminist critiques of science and technology from the 70s and 80s.
Using the Barbican as a studio, stage and gallery, she gathered materials from feminist publications, including letters, slogans and hosted reading groups using these sources.
Now, in the Life Rewired Hub, audiences can see how she gathered materials from feminist archives, proposing these critiques as tools for challenging current scientific and technological agendas.
