Two people in US Army fatigues walk down a road with cameras around their necks.

Kate Winslet stars as Lee Miller, an American fashion model who became an acclaimed war correspondent for Vogue magazine during World War II.

After her successful career as a model came to an end, one that saw her feted by leading artists such as Pablo Picasso and Man Ray, Lee Millar enlisted as a photographer to chronicle the events of Word Ward II for Vogue magazine. This biopic, based on The Lives of Lee Miller by Miller's son Antony Penrose, shows how she was first-hand witness to key events such as the first use of napalm in warfare (covered up for decades), the liberation of concentration camps and documenting Hitler's Munich apartment. Kate Winslet is fantastic as Miller, a passion project that has been years in the making.

Winslet is ably supported by a stellar cast including Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard, Oscar-nominee Andrea Riseborough, Josh O'Connor (La Chimera) and Alexander Skarsgård (Big Little Lies).
