If I Could Only Remember My Name – The Music of David Crosby

The Staves

An evening celebrating the musical genius of songwriter David Crosby featuring The Staves, Kris Drever (Lau) and Liam Ó Maonlaí (Hothouse Flowers).

An evening celebrating the musical genius of American songwriter David Crosby, member of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, who passed away in 2023.

Artists including The Staves, Liam Ó Maonlaí (Hothouse Flowers) and Kris Drever (Lau) will come together for a special live performance of David Crosby’s seminal solo 1971 album If I Could Only Remember My Name, followed  by a selection of his music with The Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and his later solo work.

Although the album received a mixed reception at the time of release, it has now become a firm cult classic with music connoisseurs. This extraordinary  psychedelic folk recording gathered a stellar line-up of friends and peers including Joni Mitchell, Gerry Garcia and Neil Young who sang harmonies and played guitar on the tracks.
