The Gentle Author's Winter Walk Through The City

Old Victorian image of city

Join The Gentle Author of Spitalfields Life for a two hour storytelling ramble across the square mile.

From the steps of St Paul's Cathedral through the narrow alleys and lanes to the Bank of England, go in search of the wonder and the wickedness of the City of London. Discover 18th century graffiti, ghastly facadism and an underground Roman Wall.

The walk concludes with tea and mince pies at the Barbican.

The Gentle Author is a writer who has published stories about London on Spitalfields Life, a daily blog, since 2009, amounting to over 4,000 tales that shine a light on the culture and happenings of the city.
