Bread & Roses (15) + ScreenTalk with director Sahra Mani and executive producer Malala Yousafzai

Preview Screening

We’re delighted to have director Sahra Mani and executive producer Malala Yousafzai, with us onstage for a very special post-screening Q&A.

Apple Original Films’ Bread & Roses offers a powerful window into the seismic impact on women’s rights and livelihoods after Kabul fell to the Taliban in 2021.

This searing documentary follows three women, in real time, as they fight to recover their autonomy. Director Sahra Mani captures the spirit and resilience of Afghan women through a raw depiction of their harrowing plight.

Bread & Roses, an Eyan Foundation presentation in association with Extracurricular, is produced by Jennifer Lawrence and Justine Ciarrocchi with Sahra Mani, alongside executive producers Malala Yousafzai and Farhad Khosravi.
