Jessica Pratt + Alan Sparhawk

Presented by Pitchfork Festival London

Jessica Pratt sits on dark red floor wearing a black suit and a pink shirt with large collar

A double bill featuring indie-folk singer-songwriter Jessica Pratt and indie rock musician Alan Sparhawk (of Low).

Jessica Pratt, the revered Los Angeles artist has become one of the most singular and distinctive songwriters of her generation, largely through the bewitching sound of her acoustic guitar and vocals: a mystical, elusive blend that conjures deep emotional responses from her devoted (and patient) audience. Tonight, she performs music from her new album, Here in the Pitch

Thirty years into a career of music making, 2024 finds Alan Sparhawk entering uncharted territory. Sparhawk co-founded the band Low alongside vocalist & drummer Mimi Parker, who passed away in late 2022. Their music derived elemental power from its fearless exploration of quiet, gentle places. In Autumn of this year he will be releasing his first solo album following the death of his late wife.
