Explore ways to tell stories using art and the body at this community workshop led by artist and producer Somya Arora.
Using a variety of art materials with different colours, shapes, and textures, Somya Arora will guide participants in drawing and tracing life-sized images of their bodies onto canvas. This session offers the opportunity to express and embody personal life experiences and stories in a non-verbal, creative way.
As part of the session, participants will be invited to a community group tour of The Imaginary Institution of India Art 1975–1998 exhibition in our Gallery.
Somya Arora is an artist and producer (affiliated with the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art), whose work spans various media, including acrylics, sketching, and fabric painting.
