Architecture on Stage

(An Architecture of) Kindred Spirits. A talk by Alison Brooks, as part of our Architecture on Stage series.

In this presentation, Alison Brooks will describe how her practice embeds memory, material culture, and the concept of journey in a mission to help deepen human experience of place, support communities and enhance their contexts, both natural and constructed. She will expand on how this ethos permeates her work across all scales, from intimate projects like Windward House, awarded 2020 RIBA House of the Year, to recent urban housing and academic projects in the UK and North America.

Following her lecture, Alison will be joined in conversation with Jamie Fobert.

Alison Brooks Architects’ first published monograph by TC Cuadernos will also be available for purchase at the event.

The Architecture Foundation, in association with the Barbican, presents Architecture on Stage – a programme of talks by the world's leading architects.
