Attend a workshop led by Camilla Dilshat as she teaches how to make salt dough.
This workshop will be led in connection to Camilla's piece in the What Do We Become exhibition, where she explores ideas of home, identity, and food.
Starting with the gestures of cooking and the nostalgia of food as a bouncing off point, Camilla will encourage participants to use imitation, repetition and imagination to create their own 3-D salt dough creations. Note that pieces created will need to be taken home after the workshop by participants to bake in the oven to harden into permanent sculptures.
All materials and ingredients will be provided.
