The Role

 

Our busy Barbican Theatre department is looking for a Stage & Flys technician who can demonstrate good technical skills and experience in a major theatre environment, as they will be part of the team running productions from pre-rig to opening night.  Knowledge and experience of the role are therefore essential. This position requires individuals to use their initiative and work without supervision, ensuring that all technical requirements are met and undertaken in a safe and professional manner; demonstrating a good understanding of relevant Health & Safety practices.

Experience of working within a technical theatre environment is required, but training and development can be provided. Weekends & unsocial hours working should be expected.
