Salary: £31,120 to £34,180 per annum (inclusive of Inner London Weighting)

Job Type: Full-time (35 hours), Fixed-Term (12 months)


The Barbican is an international arts, conference and learning organisation in the heart of the City of London.


Across its theatres, concert halls, cinemas, galleries, business venues, public and community spaces, the Barbican showcases the most exciting artists and performers from around the world, pushing traditional artistic boundaries and helping us understand our lives in new and unexpected ways. Each year, the Centre presents hundreds of different performances, events and exhibitions that entertain and inspire millions of people, create connections, provoke debate, and reflect the world we live in.


Firmly rooted in its neighbourhood, the Barbican collaborates on projects with local communities and supports young people and emerging talent to develop their artistic practice and access jobs in the creative industry.


Barbican Immersive is a leading creator of exhibitions and experiences that aim to reframe visitors’ understanding of familiar subjects through a focus on contemporary culture, emerging technology and digital creativity. Our work explores some of the most challenging and inspirational topics in the world today: ranging from artificial intelligence and sustainability to the history of gaming. Our team manages a portfolio with 5 touring shows and develops major exhibitions to be shown at the Barbican every year, as well as other new and expanding business opportunities.


The Role


There is an opportunity to join the Barbican Immersive team as a Projects Administrator at a very exciting time as we continue to expand our operations, offering the possibility to work across a range of projects.


The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing high quality administrative support, preferably in public institutions and museum environments.
