Salary: £31,991, inclusive of London Weighting and contractual hours payment.

Our Audience Experience team deliver exceptional customer service to further enhance the Barbican’s world-class arts and learning programme. Responsible for Centre Management, Box Office, Access, and Licensing, the team promotes the Barbican, maximises revenue generation, and ensures a welcoming, friendly, and safe environment is provided to all visitors.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Audience Experience team as an Audience Experience Crew Member.

As part of the Crew, you will assist the Audience Experience Crew Manager and Assistant Customer Experience Crew Manager in the running of events, conferences and concerts at the Centre.

You will support the Audience Experience team and work together in all aspects of setup for commercial events and conference spaces, including the setting of staging, movement of pianos, furniture and marketing materials.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a busy environment, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks whilst working under pressure.

You will be a friendly and motivated person who thrives when working as part of a team and is eager to provide the highest level of customer service, both internal and external.

Please note that this role involves manual handling, fire evacuation and first aid. This role works on a rota basis over 7 days per week to ensure sufficient cover during operational hours of the Centre.
