Pre-Concert Talk: Curating Rattle

Join us for a pre-concert talk with Edward Smith, co-curator of the Barbican Library's Rattle exhibition, and conductor John Carewe, one of Sir Simon's first and most influential teachers.
Hosted by LSO violinist Lennox Mackenzie, the guests share their memories of Sir Simon Rattle, drawing together stories and memorabilia to illustrate the maestro's musical life.
5.45pm, entry is free.
The Barbican Library Rattle exhibition runs until 22 December.

The Barbican Libraries are located on Level 2 within the Barbican. They can be accessed from the main building via stairs or lifts from Level G or via Frobisher Crescent from the highwalks.
