My Old Ass (15) (AD)

A young woman sits on the dock of a lake, her legs in the water.

A teenager on the verge of leaving home has a surreal encounter with her future self.

Megan Park directs this poignant comedy-drama (with science fiction elements) that poses thoughtful questions about approaching adulthood and the choices that you have to make at a young age that can affect the trajectory of your entire life.

Free-spirited Elliott (Maisy Stella) takes a trip on her 18th birthday when she experiments with mushrooms and comes face-to-face with her wisecracking 39-year-old self (Aubrey Plaza). Should she heed the advice given by her 'old ass'?

Experienced comedic actor Plaza (The White Lotus) is joined by several talented newcomers, including singer/actor Stella in her film debut and Maddie Ziegler (West Side Story) in this delightful film.
