Voices of Resilience: Content Advice and Resources

Voices of Resilience is an evening of testimonies reflecting upon the resilience of Palestinians in Gaza. The evening includes readings from diary extracts, accompanied by traditional Arabic music and a visual score. 

The event contains descriptions of violence and references to war, death and displacement.

We hope that the content and resources provided here will help audiences experiencing the show, and support planning for anyone who may be concerned about their visit.

Audience information

If you need to leave Cinema 1 during your visit, a quiet space is available nearby. The hosts will assist you and if you’d like to come back in at any point, we will readmit you as soon as we can.

There is also a Multi Faith and Meditation Room on Level 2 for anyone who would like to take a moment of reflection. 

Running time: 90 minutes, no interval

Performed in English with some Arabic words and phrases used.

Post-show panel discussion
The event will be followed by a post-show panel discussion. There will be a short comfort break in between the event and the panel discussion for those that would like to stay. Free to same day ticket holders.
