Jamz Supernova brings her Future Bounce label to the Barbican with global Dance music lineup

Jamz Supernova

DJ, broadcaster and label head, Jamz Supernova brings her Future Bounce label to the Barbican, featuring a specially curated line-up showcasing the best of global Dance music and UK Bass.

Headlining the night is Afro-Portuguese electronic producer DJ Nídia, joined by boundary pushing composer and experimental producer Yaw Evans; Indian artist-producer, and new signing to Future Bounce Kiss Nuka; and mother of Afro Rave Toya Delazy. Together, they will join Jamz Supernova for a late-night gathering, filled with infectious basslines and forward-thinking beats - a celebration of dance music from around the world showcasing everything from techno to bass, UK funky to kuduro.

Future Bounce is the brainchild of Jamz Supernova and evolved from a radio show to a party, and now a label, championing underground talent across a spectrum of sounds.

Jamz Supernova, renowned for her boundary-blurring BBC Radio shows, is a multifaceted figure in the UK music scene. With over a decade of industry experience, she serves as a label head, radio host, DJ, podcaster, and tastemaker. Her acclaimed slots on BBC Radio 1Xtra (Best Specialist Aria Gold Winner 2021), BBC 6Music (Broadcast & Press Guild Best radio show of 2022), and Selector radio for the British Council have reached over 4 million global listeners.

The Barbican’s ClubStage is a flexible late-night space in the Barbican’s iconic foyers, inviting audiences to celebrate multi-disciplinary artists and experience fresh events, from gigs to performance pieces, DJ sets and more.
