Relaxed View

Francis Alÿs: Ricochets

picture of children playing

Childrens Games #40 Chivichanas, La Habana, Cuba, 2023. 443 min. In collaboration with Julien Devaux and Félix Blume

Our Relaxed Viewings are dedicated to visitors who'd benefit from a more informal approach to noise and movement in the space, or who feel more comfortable knowing that they can enter and exit freely.

An immersive exhibition of Francis Alÿs' work transforms our gallery into a cinematic playground with multi-screen film installations.

Please be aware that light levels will be low, and that the video installation features loud sounds of children playing which can be heard throughout the Gallery. Should you or one of your group have specific sensory needs we encourage you to bring either ear defenders or ear plugs with you. There will be a limited number to borrow on site, please enquire at the Art Gallery Ticket Desk for these.
