Led by Lee Simpson Co-Artistic Director of Improbable and Flo O’Mahony, Artistic Director of Zoo Co this is a workshop in improvisation as a radical tool for realising creative leadership. 

Explore the ways in which the principles of improvisation can be applied to create radical social and political change, be that on stage, off stage, or within communities most often shut-out of traditional theatre settings. This workshop is suitable for any artists who want to find out how improvisation can be used as a tool for change.

Biographies

Flo O’Mahony 
Flo O’Mahony is a theatre director, and Artistic Director for Zoo Co. Recent work for theatre includes Associate Director for Follow the Signs at Soho Theatre; Messy on UK tour; Sirens at Greenwich Theatre and on UK tour (Three Weeks Editor's Choice Award) and sold-out UK performances of Manimals (also Canadian digital tour). Forthcoming work includes Night Shift, working alongside Brian Duffy to create a production in BSL and spoken English, and Bossy on UK tour.

Lee Simpson 
Lee Simpson is Co-Artistic Director for Improbable, a Comedy Store Player and one of Paul Merton’s Impro Chums. He’s also been a croupier, cinema projectionist and breakfast show DJ. He’s written plays, appeared in sit-coms and in some films, been on some Radio 4 panel shows and once did a very poor poodle act at the London Palladium. He feels this lack of direction is the essence of his work. His real name is Len.
