A display of cushions, bags and long lengths using natural tie dye, over-print, screen and block print.
Lesley studied painting at Walthamstow Art School leading to textile design and printing at the Royal College of Art.
Influenced by periods abroad, she has used artifacts from ancient Babylon, Hatra and Ur as well as the flora of Turkey’s mountains and more recently, Walthamstow Marshes and the River Lea.
All items are available to purchase. Please note that the library is closed on Sundays.
Location
The Barbican Libraries are located on Level 2 within the Barbican. They can be accessed from the main building via stairs or lifts from Level G or via Frobisher Crescent from the highwalks.
