This comedy-drama film was produced, written, and directed by Spike Lee, he appears in the cast alongside Danny Aiello, Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Richard Edson, Giancarlo Esposito, Bill Nunn, John Turturro AND Samuel L. Jackson….plus the film featured debuts of Martin Lawrence and Rosie Perez.
