Set within the Syrian war zone, a mother, Oum Yazan (Hiam Abbas) attempts to protect her family and houseguests from the raging war and from the sniper that lies in wait outside her home.

Trapped within a blockaded Damascus apartment the family must do all that they can to protect themselves from the threat that exists on the other side of the door. The falling bombs keep everyone on edge along with the sniper that is ready to target anyone who attempts to venture outside.

When two men break into the apartment the family and house guests are forced to lock themselves in the kitchen to stay safe. Oum Yazam, the mother of the family is determined to keep everyone out of harm’s way but how long can they survive this nightmare.

A powerful yet chilling drama which brings this everyday horror home.
