Members' Private View Lee Krasner: Living Colour

Members' Event

Lee Krasner's painting 'Icarus'

Members are invited to come and explore this new exhibition after hours.

Discover Lee Krasner’s spirit for invention – from striking early self-portraits to her acclaimed ‘Little Image’ paintings from the 1940s, from collages comprised of torn-up earlier work to a selection of her most impressive large-scale abstract paintings. Explore nearly 100 works, many of which are being presented for the first time in the UK.

Your tickets also include a complimentary drink voucher to enjoy either before or after your visit to the exhibition. Tickets are limited so must be booked in advance.

Our private views are extremely popular, if you're no longer able to attend drop us a line at Barbican Membership

The gallery will be open from 18.30-20.30 for the private viewing. Members can book up to two tickets for this event, for them and a guest.

The exhibition is also made possible with support from Kasmin Gallery, Elizabeth and J. Jeffry Louis, and a Jonathan Ruffer Curatorial Research Grant from the Art Fund.
