MimeLondon 2025

MimeLondon returns with four extraordinary visual performances by astonishing international companies.

The French-Norwegian theatre company Plexus Polaire bring Herman Melville's great novel to life in Moby Dick, featuring seven actors, fifty puppets and a whale-sized whale. Blending puppetry, storytelling and a live one-man orchestra, La Pendue's La Manékine is a thrilling adaptation of a Grimm fairy tale. Galway based Brú Theatre explore the forgotten lives of the Irish navvies using mask work in Not a Word. And Frau Trapp's Five Lines uses micro cinema-theatre to consider relationships in a dystopian world.

MimeLondon is led by Helen Lannaghan and Joseph Seelig, the directors of London International Mime Festival (LIMF) which ended in 2023 after five decades of award-winning success.
