Darbar Arts Culture & Heritage Trust (Darbar) firmly believes that Indian classical music has the power to stir, thrill and inspire its audience.
Founded in 2006 in memory of Bhai Gurmit Singh Virdee, an exceptional tabla teacher and advocate for Indian classical music, Darbar has dedicated itself to curating the finest Indian classical music across the UK. Its flagship event, the Darbar Festival, is proudly hosted at the Barbican.
