Guildhall School's prestigious prize for musicians

Three exceptional singers from Guildhall School perform in the Final of the School’s most prestigious music prize. 

Guildhall School’s premier music prize was founded in 1915 and since the 1950s it has been open to singers and instrumentalists in alternate years. Previous winners of the Gold Medal include Jacqueline du Pré OBE (1960), Tasmin Little CBE (1986), Sir Bryn Terfel CBE (1989).

Three exceptional soloists from the School’s Vocal and Opera departments will perform with piano accompaniment and with Guildhall Symphony Orchestra. The evening closes with the adjudication by the panel of leading experts from the classical music industry and announcement of the winner.

Priority booking for Guildhall Patrons & Circle members opens at 10am on Friday 28 February. General booking opens at 10am on Tuesday 11 March.
