The couple's stay at the Dakota in 1971 has received a lot of attention over the years, but Kevin Macdonald provides a fascinating insight into the iconic couple's headspace on the advent of this new era in their lives.

Through faithful recreations of their apartment, recorded conversations with the singer-songwriter and accounts of pivotal friendships we see a portrait of two artists in flux . The real time performance Lennon's Maddison Square Garden concert on 30 August 1972 sees him balance late Beatles and solo tracks with an electrifying effect.
