More Human Systems: Perceptual Drift

Experiments in Utopia

The silhouette of a person can be seen from inside a bubble, their hand is pressed against the material.

Step inside a calming, sensory pop-up bubble on our sculpture court—an installation offering space to regulate your nervous system and explore alternative states of togetherness.

Presented by design collective More Human Systems, this special in-bubble workshop is an experiment in collective attunement through somatic exploration, spatial sensing, and subtle transformation.

Co-facilitated by Michele Occelli, Ben Khan, and Lewis Walker—three artists working across architecture, meditation, and movement—the session invites participants into expanded states of embodied perception. Together, they guide a perceptual drift toward a felt, fluid, and emergent mode of being.

The Perceptual Drift installation is free to explore throughout the day, until a paid workshop begins at 4.30 pm. Reserve your place using the 'Check dates and book' button above.

Free entry (drop in): From 12pm–6pm

Paid workshop: 1 hour, 4.30pm–5.30pm

Ben Khan
Ben Khan is a British Kashmiri artist born in 1992 from London, UK. A multidisciplinary artist, practicing as a musician for over a decade and recently completing studies in architecture from the Architectural Association, he explores experimental sound and space-making practices promoting alternative states of togetherness and gathering. His practice investigates notions of territory, the body and examining the boundaries between physical and metaphysical space. Looking at forces like sound and resonance to reimagine ecosystems, landscapes, and social ritual.

Michele Occelli
For over a decade, Michele Occelli has led workshops and classes that integrate hypnotherapy with creative disciplines—performance, dance, fine art, and architecture—to explore the mind-body connection. These have been presented at leading institutions across the UK (Barbican Centre, Camden Art Centre, Architectural Association, UAL), the U.S. (ICA LA), Europe (Between Bridges Berlin, FMAV Modena), and India (Volte Art Project – Mumbai).

Occelli is a fully qualified and registered hypnotherapist with postgraduate diplomas in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and NLP. Trained under renowned figures such as Stephen Brooks, Dr. Ernest Rossi, and Dr. Stephen Gilligan, his integrative practice draws from clinical hypnotherapy, somatic therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. With over 15 years of experience, he works with individuals and groups both online and from his private practice in London. Occelli is a registered member of the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) and the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR).

Lewis Walker
Lewis Walker is a London-born queer, non-binary movement artist. A former Great Britain gymnast and Acrobatic Gymnastics World Champion, they trained from age 6 to 21 before earning a degree in Contemporary Dance. Their work spans theatre, film, fashion, music, and the commercial sector. Walker continues to choreograph gymnastics competition routines for the Great Britain, Italian and French national teams. Beyond performance, Walker is dedicated to teaching movement as a tool for accessing deeper states of consciousness and developing a deeper understanding of consensual touch. Their Connecting to Improv workshop explores dance improvisation as a ritual of shared energy and expression, while MOVE HYPNO, a collaboration with hypnotherapist Michele Occelli, blends movement and hypnotherapy for personal transformation.

Walker is currently a Studio Wayne McGregor RESIDENT 6 artist-in-residence.
