Beyond Accompaniment: The Harmonium Re-imagined. Experience one of India’s most ubiquitous instruments in a new light. Witness the harmonium, traditionally an accompanist, take centre stage.

Deochake transcends the instrument's perceived limitations, extracting remarkable expressiveness from its reeds and keys. His virtuosity transforms the harmonium into a vehicle for classical exploration, capable of delicate alaap (unaccompanied raga), intricate taans (rhythmic cycles), and the breathtaking speed of jhala (fast alaap) once thought impossible on this instrument. Deochake’s mastery navigates complex ragas with technical brilliance and emotional depth, elevating the harmonium to new heights of classical respectability.

Accompanying him is tabla master Pandya, whose sensitive rhythms create the perfect canvas for Deochake’s melodic explorations.
