On the 40th anniversary of the Bhopal gas tragedy – considered one of the worst industrial disasters in the world – Bartholomew, an eyewitness, discusses his work documenting the event and its aftermath. He reflects on the media and government failure surrounding the event, and its wide-ranging consequences up to the present day.
This is the second of two talks delivered by the artist at the Barbican, and isjointlysupported by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi.
