Three exceptional artists from downunder bring their unique, diverse sounds to the FreeStage with this takeover by Melbourne International Jazz Festival.

Bumpy is fast becoming one of Australia’s most vibrant and captivating soul singers. An award-winning composer, vocalist and Noongar woman, Bumpy’s deeply affecting music pulls from the strength found in tenderness, scars and all.

In an exclusive London premiere vocalist Kristin Berardi is joined by Swiss double bassist Lukas Traxel to play original works inspired by jazz and folk traditions. Don't miss this rare chance to experience the freedom of this powerful duo.

Delivering hard-hitting dance energy from start to finish Alexander Flood possesses an arsenal of groove, power and expertise on the drums; mining nu-jazz, house, broken beat, DnB, funk, and experimental sounds.

This performance will run between 3.30 - 7pm.

Presented in collaboration with: MIJF; Creative Australia; Creative Victoria (Melbourne); Vizard Foundation
