Food, Inc. 2 (12A)

A man gathers a cows in a field.

The award winning 2008 documentary comes back for seconds to demystify the truth about our unstable, global food systems.

The sequel to the 2008 Oscar-nominated documentary, Food, Inc., filmmakers Robert Kenner and Melissa Robledo reunite with authors Michael Pollan and Eric Schlosser to take a fresh look at our efficient yet vulnerable food system.

The original film ignited a cultural conversation about the multinational corporations that control global food systems at enormous cost to our planet, workforce and health. In the well-timed sequel, Food, Inc. 2 reveals how corporate consolidation has gone unchecked by the US government, leaving humanity with an efficient yet vulnerable food system, dedicated only towards increasing profits.

Seeking solutions, the film introduces innovative farmers, food producers, workers’ rights activists and legislators fighting to create a more sustainable future.
