A House in Jerusalem (12A) (AD)

A young girl looks through a key hole.

In her new house in Jerusalem, ghosts of past and present haunt a young girl who has lost her mother, in this chilling drama from Muayad Alayan.

Young Rebecca, together with her father, relocates from the UK to Jerusalem seeking a fresh start following the death of her mother. Their old family home in the Valley of the Ghosts becomes the setting for an unlikely friendship between Rebecca and Rasha, a young Palestinian girl only she can see, either as a spirit of the past or an emblem of Rebecca's trauma.

As Rebecca delves deeper into the secrets of the house, she discovers Rasha’s true identity and the shared loss that binds them.

Crafted by the talented duo Muayad and Rami Alayan, the film is an eerily suspenseful and touching story told through the eyes of a young girl, exploring the strength of memory and the power of love.

Starring Miley Locke, Sheherazade Farrell and Johnny Harris.
