Join photographer Anthony Palmer on this walk around Cloth Fair and Smithfield to discover fragments of old London from the medieval to the Victorian. Then from monastery to Tudor mansion, we’ll stop by the historic Charterhouse to see what recent architectural interventions have been added to this historic site.
All abilities are welcome and Members must bring camera equipment they are comfortable walking with (can include phones or tablets).
The meeting point for the tour is on the pedestrian bridge over Aldersgate Street, up one flight of stairs from the street level exit at Barbican station.
The tour will last approximately 1 hour 30 mins.
This event is open to Barbican Members and Membership Plus only. Members are welcome to bring a guest, they will need their own ticket.
