Revenge of the Librarians: Words and Pictures with Tom Gauld
Acclaimed cartoonist Tom Gauld reveals the secrets behind his hugely popular and darkly amusing literary comic strips.
Tom Gauld returns with his wittiest and most trenchant collection of literary cartoons to date. Perfectly composed drawings are punctuated with the artist’s signature brand of humour, hitting high and low. Revenge of the Librarians contains even more murders, drubbings and castigations than any other collections of his mordant scribblings.
Tom Gauld is a cartoonist and illustrator with weekly comic strips in the Guardian and New Scientist and his comics have been published in the New York Times and on the cover of the New Yorker. He is the author of Goliath, You’re All Just Jealous of My Jetpack, Mooncop (a New York Times bestseller), Baking with Kafka (winner of an Eisner Award) and, most recently, Department of Mind-Blowing Theories. He lives and works in London.
