Avatar: The Way Of Water 2D (12A) (AD)

Parent and Baby Screening

Still from Avatar: The Way Of Water

James Cameron's passion project makes a big splash with a beautifully immersive sequel to the 2009 sensation Avatar.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water revisits star-crossed lovers, Jake Sully and Ney'tiri, who have now settled down peacefully on planet Pandora with their brood of children. However, the Sully family soon find themselves hunted by a team of mercenaries, forcing them to leave their home and explore new regions of the planet. It's not before long that they encounter an ancient threat which forces them to fight in a difficult war against the humans.

Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña reprise their roles as Jake and Ney'tiri, while Sigourney Weaver makes a welcome comeback as a surprising new addition to the Sully family, the teenage Kiri. Now improved with state of the art CGI and underwater motion capture technology, James Cameron's stunning aquatic visuals will leave audiences in awe.
