Giuliano Modarelli Quartet: Indian classical-inspired voyages and expansive cinematic film scores
Part of Darbar Festival
Free and unticketed
Immerse yourself into the joyously free-wheeling, heavy groove-wielding improv saturated in crunchy electronics.
Originally from Italy, Giuliano Modarelli is a London based guitarist, composer and producer with a unique voice. Having studied Jazz at University, he went on to develop through the Indian classical tradition studying under renowned sitarist Dharambir Dhadyalla, Indian classical maestro Pandit Buddhadev Dasgupta and his senior disciple Prattyush Bannerjee. Join Modarelli’s Quartet on a journey of discovery and exploration seamlessly crossing musical terrains from dark post-Jazz and thundering rock-outs to Indian classical-inspired voyages and expansive cinematic film score.
