Join this workshop to make your mark on a piece of filmstrip and create a piece of unique handmade cinema.
In this workshop artist film maker Vicky Smith will guide you to make creative marks, splashes and scratches directly on to a piece of filmstrip using ink, stencils, safety pins, and transfers. You'll then get to watch the results from your work transformed when played back to you as part of the session.
You'll take inspiration from Vicky's work, which is part of an experimental subset of cinema; films made entirely by hand, without a camera, using DIY techniques to manipulate the film itself.
