A discussion and Q&A about tarot as a modern technology to navigate modern lives.
Michelle Tea, author of Modern Tarot: Connecting with Your Higher Self Through the Wisdom of the Cards will be in discussion about the wisdom and mystery of the Tarot.
Tea’s practice explores tarot as a modern technology: a toolkit to navigate and reflect our diverse world and modern lives. What can the ancient and archetypal journey represented by the tarot offer our contemporary times? How can its traditions be honoured in this time of reinvention? She will discuss her personal path in reading the tarot in the context of her latest book Against Memoir. Following this, Michelle will open the floor to answer audience questions and host an informal discussion.
