Create your own Brutalist Christmas crackers, origami-style decorations, hand-cut paper wreaths and more...

Make the perfect present for a friend (or for yourself..) in our series of festive workshops, or learn a new skill in our free, drop–in craft demos that will be taking place in the run up to Christmas.

Following our Makers programme, make! seeks to further the Barbican's support of up and coming design talent, challenge perceptions of craft and inspire you to try something new.

Meet our Maker

Elise McLauchlan

Woodturner Elise McLauchlan is the latest craftsperson to be featured as part of our Barbican Makers initiative, which gives up and coming makers the opportunity to showcase and sell their work in the Barbican Shop. Her exclusive hand-turned walnut collection is inspired by the bold, geometric shapes of the Barbican.
