Barbican postpones Live from the Barbican concert dates scheduled between 10 January and 24 March 2021
Following government guidance, the Barbican is currently closed to the public.
The safety of staff and artists is always our key priority, so due to the development in the public health crisis we have taken the decision to postpone the first nine concerts scheduled in the Live from the Barbican series this spring, falling in the period from 10 January to 24 March 2021. We hope to reschedule them in due course, with new dates to be advised.
During closure, independent new release films and exclusive one-off titles can be enjoyed via Cinema on Demand and a whole host of vibrant digital content is also available for everyone to read, watch & listen for free via the Barbican’s website at https://www.barbican.org.uk/read-watch-listen and our social media channels. In addition, podcasts can also be accessed by subscribing to the Nothing Concrete podcast via Acast, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.
The Barbican believes in creating space for people and ideas to connect through its international arts programme, community events and learning activity. To keep its programme accessible to everyone, and to keep investing in the artists it works with, the Barbican needs to raise more than 60% of its income through ticket sales, commercial activities and fundraising every year.
