Young Jazz from Italy #1

EFG London Jazz Festival FreeStage

Clock Pointer's dance bowing presumably after a ripper good jazz performance

The first day in a weekend series of performances highlighting the vitality of today's emerging Italian jazz scene

Saturday kicks off with a solo piano set from Alessandro Lanzoni, whose dynamic command of lyricism and technique have marked him out as one of the countries hottest prospects.

This will be followed by Clock's Pointer Dance, a quintet from Lombardy whose sonic horizons stretch from familiar jazz territory into influences from rock and free improv.

Produced by Serious

Programmed with I-Jazz. This concert is organised with the support of MiBACT and SIAE, as part of the initiative 'Sillumina – Copia privata per i giovani, per la cultura'.
