A workshop dismantling the myths surrounding bodies, which bodies are acceptable and which aren’t, and celebrating the visceral, messy, magnificent reality of all bodies.
Thin, tidy, cisgender, able-bodied, white and free from ‘imperfections’: this is the image of the ideal female form that our culture celebrates at every turn. But what would it mean to acknowledge and even revel in all our bodies as they really are?
Bethany Rutter, journalist, body activist and editor of Plus+, and Tallulah Pomeroy, illustrator and author of A Girl's Guide to Personal Hygiene, guide a workshop on how to reclaim all that is gleeful, gross, subversive, and beautiful about our bodies.
