What to expect
Through this intensive weekend workshop, you will gain insight into Cheek by Jowl’s approach to acting, and be introduced to some of the modes of rehearsal the company uses. As an international company performing classic works, this workshop will focus on the company’s work with Shakespeare’s plays, in particular – Pericles, Prince of Tyre.
As part of the Lab, you will receive a ticket to the Saturday evening production of Pericles at the Barbican on 14 April 2018.
This Lab is suitable for students, emerging or mid-career actors, directors and theatre-makers, ages 18+. International participants are encouraged to apply. Some preparation in advance will be required.
