Question time with the Barbican Renewal gardeners

Barbican Conservatory

Barbican Estate residents are invited to learn more about the history of eco-Brutalism and the plans for future planting of the Conservatory as part of Barbican Renewal.

From the challenges of nurturing plants to thrive in inner city places to welcoming wildlife and being an eco-friendly 'green' gardener, we will be exploring a variety of Barbican Estate-specific topics on planting.

This event will feature a diverse line-up of planting experts. We’re excited to welcome Matthew Pottage from Royal Parks, Charlotte Harris from Harris Bugg Studio, Diana Morgan Grey of Barbican Horticultural Society, and our very own Head Gardener, Marta Lowcewicz.

As well as presenting on plans for Renewal of the Barbican Centre, the panel are happy to provide advice and take questions on residents' gardening challenges. We encourage attendees to send questions in advance to barbicanrenewal@barbican.org.uk with the subject line 'Question time'.
