Brazilian trio Gilsons bring their signature blend of Bahia’s vibrant rhythms and modern MPB, continuing the legacy of their legendary father and grandfather, Gilberto Gil.

The Brazilian music scene has witnessed an incredible rise in recent years, and no name is more emblematic of this new wave than  Gilsons. The trio—Francisco, João, and José Gil—have captivated global audiences with their infectious energy and genre-defying style, fusing Bahia’s rich traditions with contemporary sounds.

As the sons and grandsons of the legendary Gilberto Gil, Gilsons honour their family’s musical heritage while carving out their own distinct sound, seamlessly blending pop, samba, and Afro-Brazilian influences. A Latin Grammy nomination and a string of hit songs have cemented their place as one of Brazil’s most exciting acts today. Expect a dynamic performance filled with soulful harmonies, rhythmic grooves, and the unmistakable warmth of Música Popular Brasileira.
