Sine Screen: Precarious Landscapes

A young person sits on a rock in front of a wide, calm river.

When we leave this earth, these films will remain to tell of our presence. Or maybe, we will all be washed away in the flood together.

This programme seeks to reimagine cinema’s relationship to our landscapes through a politicised, decolonial experimental lens, questioning what can be observed or what is omitted through the frame of light emitted by cinema.

The programme is a part of Sine Screen’s ongoing Vulnerable Histories series, exploring marginal histories in East and South East Asia.
