Sleep (15)

A pregnant woman's nights sleep is disturbed when her husband turns into a different man after dark, in Jason Yu's horror feature debut.

"Someone is inside" Hyun-su (Lee Sun-kyun) mutters before collapsing back to sleep on the end of the bed in the middle of the night. Soo-jin (Jung Yu-mi) is pregnant, yet her marriage and sanity are tested when her husband develops a rare night split personality disorder, and night after night sees her pulled through worsening layers of chaos.

Is it really a rare disorder like the doctor says, or are darker forces at work within her husband?

Jason Yu's directorial debut has glimpses of the South Korean masters he has worked under: Bong Joon-ho (Parasite) and Lee Chang-dong (Burning), presenting his first feature as one that will stand out as a chilling, contemporary horror.
