London Schools Symphony Orchestra

Peter Moore holding his trombone

Back from their recent tour of Belgium, London’s young musical ambassadors bring another eclectic programme to the Hall.

Featuring music by two of Britain’s best-known composers of today, Anna Clyne and Jonathan Dove, the concert finishes with Elgar’s iconic Enigma Variations with soloist Peter Moore, the youngest ever winner of the BBC Young Musician. Although rarely performed, Mahler’s Totenfeier is instantly recognisable as the original version of Mahler’s monumental second symphony.

This performance will finish at approximately 9.30pm, including a 20-minute interval
