The Barbican Young Film Programmers, curators of this year's Chronic Youth Film Festival curated a playlist for NTS Radio with music inspired by this year’s programme.

Disruptive, playful and thoughtful, this year’s festival showcases a range of films from around the world that resist and reshape the life around us. From messy encounters to lyrical dreamscapes, the festival presents four features and a programme of shorts, as well as a zine-making workshop, a live DJ set and poetry performances.

The Barbican Young Film Programmers is one of our Young Creative schemes, in which young people can gain hands on experience within the arts.

Our Young Film Programmers scheme is for those who are passionate about film and eager to dive into the world of film programming, in which they will work closely with our film team (curators, marketing and press) to learn the ins and outs of delivering a film festival.
